Information we collect and why
Your name, email address and password, to run your account and membership. What you post in the members forum, to run the forum. Messages you send us, to reply to you. Your IP address and browser details, to keep the site secure and prevent abuse. Our payment processor handles payment details; we never receive your card number. For people in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the legal basis is our contract with you for the account, the forum and downloads, and our legitimate interest in security and in answering you. You must give your name, email address and password to create an account. Without them we cannot provide one.
Who sees it
Your handle and forum posts are visible to other members. We share the rest only with service providers that help us run the site: hosting, accounts, payments and security. We do not sell your information. We make no automated decisions about you.
Where it is processed
In the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete your account. We keep some records longer where the law requires it.
Cookies and tracking
One cookie keeps you signed in. The site needs it to work. We do not track you across other sites, and no other party collects information about you through this site. Because we do not track, we have no response to Do Not Track signals.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your information, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy you can move elsewhere. Write to simplify@visionwork.dev. You can delete your own forum posts at any time. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, we post the new version here and change the date below.
